About this blog
Even if you didn't know it before this moment, getting a personal copy of your genome sequence is a lifestyle choice that you may want to consider.
So are you going to take the personal genomics plunge? How are you going to decide? What are the issues? How are other people making this decision? Who is doing interesting work relevant to these choices? By the way, what is relevant? These are some of the issues this blog is intended to address.

Whoa. When’d you turn on comments?
Yeah, its about time, I know. I started to selectively turn it on sometime fairly recently, can’t exactly remember but it was in early ‘06. Sometimes I forget, so I need to make it default on and see how it goes.
I’m already bewildered with information inputs — I recently told my book club (called “Drinkers with a reading problem” since we meet in bars and restaurants) that I was no longer accepting new information inputs (e.g. books) until I jettisoned some existing inputs. So a comment stream is breaking this rule I guess! Shhh. Don’t tell my bookish friends.
Then I’ll make sure to leave lots of comments.
Jason, you just got busted by a drinker/reader! Beware the blogosphere. I’ll keep your secret and let’s see who else is reading….
